I manage to secure the last available seat on the sched from Tasiujaq to Kangirsuk; some 10 km before landing, we flew over the leader of the race, Peter Kiatainaq and his son Junior; they still had to cross the Payne River; I still had to rush myself to the finish line, arriving one minute before the winners !
