The last couple of days have been busy with the planning and gear preparation that comes before the race begins. Final inspections of the dogs also took place ensuring that all dogs meet the eligibility criteria along with some tending to dogs by the Vet and mushers.

The race is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 10:00 am with the teams departing in 2-minute intervals in the order of team number.

The terrain in the area will pose some challenges to the teams and as a result, a decision was made for 2023 to increase the number of support teams available to the event.
